Greg Smith is the pulpit minister at Tri-Lakes Church of Christ
Greg and his wife Trish were both born and raised in Holly, CO. Both of their families were involved with farming and ranching. They became High School sweethearts and were married in October of 1983. They have three sons; Jacob, Cole, and Caleb.
Greg graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree to teach and coach. He worked as a territory sales manager for an agricultural company for fifteen years before becoming a minister. Greg ministered in Burlington Colorado for 8 years and served as pulpit minister, youth minister, and was also very involved in prison ministry.
The Smiths moved to the Monument, CO area in July of 2008 when Greg became the full time pulpit minister for the Tri-Lakes church of Christ. Greg has one very important philosophy about how to preach and teach from God's word; "Keep it simple!" The challenge in every sermon and every class is for all of us to grow spiritually. Ephesians 4 is filled with the challenge for God's people to be united in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. God meets everyone right where they are but He refuses to let them stay there. God wants all people everywhere to reach out for Him and find Him(Acts 17:27) and once they reach out for Him they need to continue to grow. Grow closer to God and grow in their understanding of who God is and what He wants from them.
Logan Hamilton is the Family Minister at Tri-Lakes Church of Christ
Logan was born and raised in Mangum, Oklahoma and has had a passion for ministry for all of his adult life. He was the youth leader for his hometown church after he graduated high school, a counselor at Camp Blue Haven, and a chaplain intern at the Lubbock County Detention Center during college.
Logan graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2016 with a degree in psychology and loves to fish, hike, and write. He also enjoys spending time with his fiance, Allie Collier who graduates from Oklahoma State in December 2017.
Logan wants people to know two things. That he loves them, and that God loves them. He believes that it is hard for anyone to know that God loves them until they know that someone they can see loves them. While Logan is at Tri-Lakes he hopes that he can encourage everyone to “walk as Jesus did” as 1st John 2:6 says. We are a church that strives to be like Christ, so we pray that when you visit here you see that you have a chance to “walk as Jesus did” too.
